About the role:

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CMO to join our team to partner with our Chief Marketing Officer to develop team strategy and own operations to maximize team effectiveness.

This position is fully remote.

What you will do:
  • Own the annual and quarterly planning process, develop team OKRs, and team budgets
  • Ensure all marketing deliverables are on time and meet the CMO’s quality bar; act as the editor on the CMO’s behalf when needed; escalate and resolve issues to de-risk bad outcomes; continually improve the effectiveness of the CMO’s time
  • Manage team KPIs and metrics to maximize team impact; pressure test the team’s investments with consistent and clear ROI measures; drive accountability for all marketing functions
  • Oversee team and company communications for the Office of the CMO to drive alignment, clarity, and organizational inspiration
  • Continually challenge the CMO's strategic bets, surface unknowns, and ensure decisions are made with the most information possible
What you will bring to the team:
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally as a Chief of Staff and/or in communications roles in Marketing
  • Exceptional organizational skill, attention to detail, and a high bar for operational excellence
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand complex marketing dynamics and approaches
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Developing executive presence
  • Experience in budget development and goal setting 
  • A solid understanding of the various marketing functions
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation Transparency:

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
