ActioNet has an upcomning opportunity for a DevSecOps Toolchain Lead able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.  This position is 95% telework reporting at the following locations:

The DevSecOps Toolchain Lead manages the design, implementation, and optimization of the agency’s software development toolchain, enabling continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated quality assurance across multiple programs. This individual serves as the technical lead for the integration of secure development practices, automation frameworks, source code repositories, and container orchestration platforms. Their leadership ensures all Agile teams have standardized, compliant, and reliable environments to accelerate delivery, reduce rework, and meet enterprise security requirements.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Oversee administration and integration of DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Bitbucket).
    • Define toolchain standards and best practices for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
    • Implement role-based access control, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning in the CI/CD pipeline.
    • Provide training and ongoing support for developers, testers, and operations personnel.
    • Monitor toolchain performance and availability, coordinating updates and patches as needed.
Basic Qualifications (required): 
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
      • 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps engineering or platform support.
      • Experience with pipeline automation using scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, Bash).

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • AWS DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator certification.
      • Experience supporting federal security frameworks and authority-to-operate (ATO) requirements.
