Description

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • The Tele Behavioral Health Clinician (Tele-BHC) conducts virtual sessions with adolescents while the adolescents are at school, home, or a preferred community location.
  • The Tele-BHC provides symptom screening, culturally sensitive assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and intervention for behavioral health symptoms and disorders. They are skilled in providing crisis assessment and intervention as indicated. They document their services in accordance with health center and regulatory guidelines.
  • The Tele-BHC formulates and implements client centered treatment plans in collaboration with adolescents and their guardians. They provide family counseling where indicated.
  • The Tele-BHC partners closely with the community health worker to engage and support students and their families.
  • The Tele-BHC coordinates with school personnel, parents/guardians, community service organizations and state agencies as necessary to address student behavioral health needs.
  • The Tele-BHC cultivates relationships with school and health center staff to identify and address student behavioral health concerns.
  • Other duties and/or other locations as assigned

Schedule: Full time, remote clinical care with some on site meetings, possible requirement of evening hours based on clinic schedule

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related human services field (Required)
  • Massachusetts License LCSW, LICSW, LMHC (Required)
  • Timely, complete and accurate documentation skills meeting insurance and regulatory standards utilizing an EMR (Required)
  • Experience providing services to children, adolescents, and families (Required)
  • Massachusetts License LICSW, LMHC (Preferred)
  • Experience with integrated behavioral healthcare and/or school based behavioral healthcare (preferred)
  • Proficiency in providing therapeutic services in Haitian Creole, Spanish, Portuguese Cape Verdean Creole, or Vietnamese (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Epic EMR and Microsoft 365 (Preferred)

Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) accounting software
