JustWatch (www.justwatch.com) – the world’s leading movie and TV streaming guide – is looking for a writer with 3 - 5 years of experience and a proven track record working in the entertainment vertical. The ideal candidate will contribute daily French language content for our localized site in France and be able to communicate and report in English.
We are looking for someone who is driven by curiosity, passion, meticulous attention to detail, and a goal-driven mentality. This is a fully remote position, so experience excelling in a freelance, work-from-home environment is crucial.
What will you be doing
Creating original copy in French for fields such as movie/TV synopses, lists and descriptions of content providers (streaming services). As we develop more projects, there may also be opportunities to write reviews, interviews and social media content
Staying up-to-date with movie & TV show releases
Working closely with an international editorial team
What we need from you
A native French speaker with excellent written and verbal skills
Previous writing experience for the French-speaking market (ideally focused on SEO)
Considerable knowledge and passion for movies and TV shows
You are intrinsically motivated and ambitious
You have an excellent eye for detail researching, writing, proofreading and sourcing
Excellent communication skills, punctuality and the ability to efficiently work remotely
