Social Media Manager

Location: Remote (Flexible within client's business hours, Florida time - EST) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute compelling social media strategies that boost our brand and mission across all relevant platforms.
  • Craft engaging, empathetic content (including eye-catching graphics and short-form videos/reels) that resonates with our audience and showcases our app's capabilities.
  • Actively grow and engage our online community, fostering meaningful conversations and providing timely support.
  • Implement targeted outreach campaigns to expand our user base and partner network.
  • Analyze social media metrics to continuously refine our strategy and maximize impact.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align social media initiatives with our overall organizational goals.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates, ensuring our approach remains cutting-edge.
  • Edit our podcast, transforming raw audio and video into compelling episodes.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally within the nonprofit or tech sectors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in video editing and graphic design software, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work (graphics and video samples are required).
  • Deep understanding of all major social media platforms and their unique best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for creating engaging and shareable content.
  • Strong analytical skills; you can interpret social media data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • A genuine passion for technology and its potential to drive positive social change.
  • Experience in disaster relief or community outreach is a significant plus.
