We are looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Strategist to join our dynamic team. The SEO Strategist position involves developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve organic search engine rankings and increase website visibility and traffic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current SEO best practices, possess excellent analytical skills, and be capable of conducting comprehensive SEO audits. In addition, you should be a proactive problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving industry trends.
OBJECTIVES
Formulate comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms.
Perform competitor SEO analysis to uncover strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve site issues affecting search performance (e.g., indexing, crawling, site speed).
Optimize web pages, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content, to align with targeted keywords.
Develop content strategies that enhance organic search visibility and user engagement.
Design and implement natural and effective link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
Develop and optimize local SEO strategies, including Google My Business optimization and local directory listings.
Monitor and analyze SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
COMPETENCIES
Proficiency in creating and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals to improve organic rankings and visibility.
Knowledge in performing thorough keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords with high search volume and low competition.
Strong understanding of technical SEO elements, including site architecture, crawlability, page speed optimization, and mobile-friendliness.
Ability to effectively use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs) to monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers, web developers, and digital marketers. Ability to clearly communicate SEO strategies, provide guidance, and educate stakeholders on SEO best practices.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
1-3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
Experience in using SEO analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to track key metrics, analyze data, and derive actionable insights, in a professional setting
1+ years experience in performing thorough keyword research, analyzing keyword metrics, identifying relevant and high-value keywords, and developing effective keyword strategies.
1+ years experience in developing content strategies aligned with SEO goals, ensuring high-quality and engaging content, optimizing meta tags and headings, and implementing internal linking strategies.
College degree in related field is preferred
