About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor and Operations Associate to support the end-to-end processing of loan applications and assist with critical backend functions that ensure compliance, efficiency, and an excellent client experience. In this role, you will collaborate with brokers, lenders, and internal teams to manage documentation, validate applications, maintain data integrity, and help drive timely settlements.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Application Processing

  • Collect, review, and verify applicant financial documents and identification details
  • Enter client data into the CRM or lender platforms accurately and promptly
  • Prepare and compile supporting documentation for submission to lenders

Documentation & Settlement Support

  • Manage the preparation and collation of loan documentation, ensuring all required fields and signatures are completed
  • Coordinate lodgments and follow up on settlements and discharges as needed

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with clients, brokers, lenders, and underwriters to gather information and respond to queries
  • Support brokers in adhering to internal compliance procedures and client communication protocols

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure loan files meet legal and regulatory standards, including credit and lending compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with internal and external audit requirements

Operational Support

  • Assist with servicing calculations and back-end loan servicing processes
  • Maintain and update client information within HubSpot and internal databases
  • Suggest and support process improvements to optimize loan operations

Customer Service

  • Respond to inquiries from clients and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
  • Support positive customer experiences by ensuring application progress is smooth and transparent


Other Responsibilities

  • Make necessary process suggestions and improvements which can help the team.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.


About You

  • At least 2 years of experience in a loan processing, credit support, or financial operations role
  • Strong understanding of lending procedures, compliance, and credit documentation
  • Experience working with CRMs or loan management systems — HubSpot experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive and customer-centric mindset, focused on delivering service excellence
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of Australian lending/compliance processes is a bonus
