Job description

We are looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Manager with U.S. and International Employment Law Experience!



CEO Lawyer is a rapidly growing personal injury law firm based in downtown Atlanta.

We are seeking a Full-Time Remote HR Manager to lead and optimize our Human Resources operations. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish, and a strong understanding of U.S. and international employment laws.

Your day-to-day activities will vary, giving you plenty of opportunities to lead, innovate, and grow.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead, document, and continuously improve HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-level, senior, and legal roles.
  • Supervise hiring pipelines, audit job postings, and assign openings.
  • Administer job portals, recruitment budgets, and cost-effective strategies.
  • Implement and track assessments to improve hiring quality.
  • Oversee background checks and ensure compliance.
  • Design interview guidelines and benchmarking tools.
  • Ensure secure and efficient use of ATS and HR systems (e.g., BambooHR).
  • Maintain job descriptions and KPIs in collaboration with department leaders.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives and university partnerships.
  • Collaborate on onboarding workflows and training plans.
  • Manage onboarding for attorneys, executives, contractors, and global hires.
  • Maintain new hire materials and ensure timely contract completion.
  • Monitor new hire ramp-up and adaptation.
  • Stay updated on multistate and international compliance needs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and maintain market data.
  • Track hiring plans and identify future needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
  • Monitor employee lifecycle, performance, and engagement.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and policy guidance.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and offboarding.
  • Support succession planning and performance reviews.
  • Coach and align HR team members.
  • Enforce HR policies and ensure legal compliance.
  • Lead weekly HR stand-ups and cultural initiatives.
  • Coordinate payroll updates and manage leave systems.
  • Organize leadership reviews and performance conversations.
  • Lead action planning from eNPS and well-being surveys.
  • Collaborate on SWAG, wellness, events, and newsletters.
  • Manage HR data, audits, policy updates, and vendor relationships.



Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, OWCP, OSHA)
  • Familiarity with international employment compliance
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Technologically inclined and comfortable with HR platforms
  • Self-starter with innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: SHRM Certification (CP or SCP)
