The Opportunity
Adept Group is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager – Pharma Packaging Consultancy to join our growing Pharma Consultancy Practice! This candidate would haveover 10 years of packaging experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned packaging professional with deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of commercial and operational aspects of the pharma packaging lifecycle.
This role will be customer-focused, working across a broad client base—from large pharmaceutical enterprises to innovative start-ups. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in managing strategic client relationships, leading packaging development projects and overseeing a team of experienced packaging professionals.
The candidate should be located in the Northeast, drivable to NY, NJ, and PA. We will also consider candidates in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute packaging development projects for pharmaceutical clients, from early-stage to global launch.
Serve as a strategic advisor and relationship manager for multiple key customer accounts.
Partner with the Practice Leader to shape and grow the consultancy offering and drive operational excellence across packaging projects.
Manage and mentor a team of packaging professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Deliver high-quality service to both internal stakeholders and external partners, maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into actionable packaging strategies tailored to client needs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging, including development, operations, and/or consulting roles.
Proven track record of success in managing cross-functional packaging initiatives in a regulated environment.
Strong understanding of global packaging regulations, GMP, and supply chain implications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and drive client satisfaction.
Experience leading teams and projects in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements and team development.
