Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, managing sales, and ensuring profitability. This role includes leading, training, and supervising a team, managing resources, and safeguarding company assets, all while delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, inventory, and vehicle use.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Hire, train, and supervise branch personnel, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews with branch associates and ensure they are trained in Silver Service® policies.
  • Protect and manage company assets, including inventory, accounts receivable, and other fixed assets.
  • Manage the branch budget and ensure financial accuracy.

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Drive sales performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review sales strategies to ensure branch success.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Administrative Duties:

  • Supervise branch accounting functions (e.g., billing, pricing, expense management).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial documents.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and place inventory orders as needed.
  • Manage timecards, vacation/sick leave, and assist with payroll functions.
  • Assist in maintaining the branch's website, catalog, and promotional materials.
  • Order office supplies and ensure efficient branch operations.

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

  • General office duties, data entry, and maintaining a clean workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • 2+ years of business management experience (preferably in construction equipment or a related field).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience with a proven record of sales and customer service success.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment is a plus.
