Duration: Summer position: June 16, 2025 – August 15, 2025
LifeMoves is the largest provider of interim housing and services for people experiencing homelessness in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. With over 26 interim housing and service sites, LifeMoves gives clients experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management. Our mission is to end homelessness by providing interim housing, support services, and collaborative partnerships. We envision thriving communities where every neighbor has a home. This year, Bank of America Student Leaders will play an integral role with the LifeMoves Summer Adventure Camp and projects to support the expansion of the LifeMoves Credit Repair Program.
The LifeMoves Summer Camp is a free, no-cost camp for children living or engaged in services through LifeMoves. Summer Camp allows parents to save more money and spend time searching for stable housing and employment. Children enrolled in Summer Camp gain experiential learning opportunities through field trips and acquire educational and life experiences through fun activities. The Student Leaders will play a hands-on role at Summer Camp, working directly with the campers.
Bank of America Student Leaders will support the Education Team in researching and publishing up-to-date information on our local communities’ cost of living. The Student Leaders will have an opportunity to make a presentation to Senior Leadership at LifeMoves. Students who are minors may only visit Single Adult Sites under full supervision of a LifeMoves staff.
