Job description

Position Available: Accounts Receivable Officer - for a growing E-Commerce company
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30 am -1:30 pm, IST Colombo time

Your main responsibilities & experience:

  • End-to-end accounts receivable: You are a well seasoned AR officer, having over 4 years experience and looking to take the lead in the AR process. You have experience with all aspects of AR, including managing inboxes & invoices, data entry and invoice matching, processing batch runs, reporting and AR ledger reconciliations.
  • Customer Support: You are able to follow up on overdue accounts, send reminders, resolve payment disputes, and handle billing inquiries, payment history, and account status. Address any issues raised by clients and provide clear, timely communication to resolve them.
  • Working with large company ERP systems: You’ve worked with a large volume of AP transactions, including using ERP systems such as Microsoft AX 2009 / Microsoft Dynamics 365, and can demonstrate your ability to navigate these platforms with ease. You have excellent excel skills and can confidentially navigate all manual processes.
  • Executing AR processes: Experienced in reviewing and confirming invoices with stakeholders before issuance to ensure accuracy and prompt payment. You understand how the AR process fits into week and month end closing and can work with other accounting and finance departments to ensure timely completion of regular reporting cycles
  • High volume of daily transactions: You have experience dealing with multiple entities and organising your work around a high volume of daily AR transactions. You are constantly looking for ways to work faster and more efficiently as the business and volume of transactions grow.

What your profile will look like:

  • Must have - strong communication skills: Fluent written & oral English skills is a must.
  • Must have – Minimum 4+ years experience: Overall 4+ years of experience as a mid-senior Accounts Receivable Officer, with at least 2+ years specifically working for Australian clients, is a must. Preferably in the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Wholesale & Retail industry.
  • Must Have – Excellent Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience: Excellent Excel skills are essential. Experience working with large ERP systems such as Microsoft AX 2009 / Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a must.
  • Must Have -Strong Internet connection: Fiber connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps is required
