Job Description

You’ll play a crucial role in supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic growth initiatives, working directly with the founder in a collaborative environment that values your input and professional development. Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive billing and invoicing processes to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Provide responsive customer support by handling student email inquiries and technical support requests
  • Maintain organized financial records and track business expenses for optimal operational efficiency
  • Conduct strategic research on software platforms, vendor options, and cost analysis to support business decisions
  • Execute specialized projects including taking practice exams following detailed protocols to develop student scoring scales
  • Transform educational content by extracting questions from textbooks and converting them into presentation-ready slide formats
  • Create and maintain comprehensive databases of schools and their specific exam requirements
  • Handle video content management including basic editing and YouTube uploads to expand the company’s digital presence
  • Support general business administration while identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Collaborate closely with the business owner on innovative projects that enhance student outcomes and business growth

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of proven virtual assistant or administrative support experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, internet research, and general computer applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow complex, multi-step instructions accurately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to ask clarifying questions when needed
  • Experience with or enthusiasm to learn basic video editing software and digital content management
  • Collaborative mindset combined with strong independent work capabilities
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace
  • Availability to work Eastern Time business hours with flexibility for occasional project deadlines
  • Genuine interest in education and helping students achieve their academic goals
