AU RTO Student Engagement Officer (ASQA) - Remote

About the Role

You’ll be the vital link between students, trainers, and administrators—driving engagement, supporting progress, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support RTO compliance with National VET standards, ASQA, and State Funding Agreements.
  • Drive student engagement strategies to support progression and success.
  • Provide administrative support to trainers and stakeholders, maintaining high service standards.
  • Identify and contact students at risk of disengagement, providing positive support.
  • Maintain accurate enrolment and administration records.
  • Communicate effectively with students via phone, email, and learning management systems.
  • Contribute to a positive student experience while building the client's brand.


Requirements
About YOU
  • At least 3 years of experience in administration or student support within an RTO environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Clear, professional communication—both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of ASQA requirements and VET frameworks (AVETMISS, AQF).
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and student management systems (aXcelerate, Cloud Assess, etc.).
