Documentation Specialist - Urology - Remote Opportunity!

Start date: 7/28/2025

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST

Pay: $20/hour

The Opportunity

Within Aeroflow, the Urology team is comprised of many different roles, with all one purpose – to provide great customer service to our new and current patients. 

As a documentation specialist, you will focus on:

Obtaining necessary supporting documentation from medical providers for our patients. This role is pivotal in ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility of information across the organization.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a [documentation specialist]. [Documentation specialist] is typically responsible for:

  • Reviewing patient accounts and following up with doctors’ offices on necessary paperwork related to clinical notes, DME prescriptions, etc
  • Electronically fax paperwork to doctor’s offices as needed
  • Communicate with physician offices and patients regarding account statuses
  • Gather and accurately update account information
  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned
  • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
