Papaya Global is looking for highly motivated Immigration Specialist to join our Operations team.

In this position you will:

Accountable for managing all immigration processes required to hire foreign nationals under the EOR model across 120+ countries, ensuring compliance, and supporting internal teams and external clients in resolving immigration challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Immigration Process Management: Oversee all immigration processes necessary for hiring foreign nationals under the EOR model, ensuring compliance with local regulations across 120+ countries.
  • Relocation Requests & Assessments: Handle incoming global relocation requests, providing detailed immigration assessments to determine visa and work permit requirements.
  • Immigration Application Preparation: Expertly prepare and submit various global immigration applications, working closely with global EOR partners and local attorneys to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Lead and manage immigration training sessions for new staff, ensuring they are up-to-date with immigration regulations and best practices.
  • Immigration Fee Management: Manage immigration-related fees, create international cost simulations, and assist the finance team with processing immigration service invoices.
  • Country-Specific Immigration Overviews: Write and edit detailed immigration overviews for various countries, including all supported visa and work permit types.
  • Data Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliance with internal data on onboarded foreign nationals and update international project growth reports, as well as stay informed on country regulation changes.
  • Collaboration with Internal & External Teams: Work closely with outside counsel, internal teams, and external clients to resolve immigration challenges, optimize processes, and ensure the successful onboarding of foreign nationals.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in immigration services or global mobility, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international immigration laws, work permits, and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
  • Proficiency with case management systems preferably Salesforce
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Mother tongue level English - written and spoken
