Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Digital Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives within the veterinary industry. This position is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing and paid advertising channels, as well as a passion for animal health and welfare. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our visibility, drive customer engagement, and ultimately increase our market share. You will oversee all aspects of our online presence, including website management and paid marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives. Your role will also involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, a data-driven mindset, and a commitment to innovative marketing solutions that resonate with both veterinary professionals and pet owners. Responsibilities:


• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with corporate goals and objectives.
• Manage and optimize paid marketing campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, social media, and display advertising.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for performance tracking, campaign ROI, and budget pacing.
• Manage agency relationships, tech stack tools, and channel budgets, ensuring accountability and efficiency across vendors.
• Own the email marketing and CRM roadmap, including automated flows (e.g., lead nurture, reactivation), segmentation, and personalization.
• Oversee AmeriVet’s website and SEO infrastructure, ensuring that clinic-level websites and local listings are optimized for discoverability, performance, and conversion.
• Build and manage a high-performing team, including:

  • Paid Media, CRM & Email Marketing and Website/SEO.

• Partner with the Brand Marketing team to ensure digital and paid channels are aligned with campaign messaging and creative standards.
• Collaborate with Field Operations, Recruiting, and Community Marketing stakeholders to support clinic-level growth efforts, local campaign tracking, and inbound marketing ticket resolution.

  • Stay current on digital trends, healthcare/pet owner behaviors, and platform updates to ensure AmeriVet’s marketing strategies remain competitive and compliant.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing and paid advertising, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industries or in agency experience – specifically managing multiple locations and/or multi brands under one umbrella.
• Demonstrated success managing teams and digital vendors/partners
• Deep experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Braze
• Very strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to translate performance data into actionable insights
• Multi-site healthcare or retail experience
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working across matrixed teams
• Passion for improving the pet care experience through accessible, expert veterinary services

Candidate must reside in San Antonio, Austin or Dallas to be considered.
