Job Overview:

In this highly visible and impactful role, you will drive the design, development, and execution of workforce forecasting and capacity planning strategies across a dynamic, multi-skill, multi-channel environment. Your work will directly support operational excellence, customer experience, and financial performance across the organization. As the AVP, you will be responsible for producing accurate and actionable long-term and short-term forecasts, as well as building scalable staffing models that inform hiring plans, scheduling strategies, and service-level goals to ensure optimal support to our advisor population.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of long-term and short-term forecasting models that inform workforce strategy, hiring plans, and budget planning.

  • Design and maintain capacity models that inform workforce strategy, hiring plans, and budget planning.

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to align forecasts and capacity plans with evolving business goals, seasonal trends, and change initiatives.

  • Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making and executive reporting.

  • Partner closely with HR and Finance to workforce planning and staffing investments.

  • Ensure forecasting and planning processes are transparent, repeatable, and data-driven

  • Reinforce feedback loops with other areas of Workforce Management to ensure alignment of practices, refinement of forecasts, and capture critical performance insights.

  • Serve as a thought leader on workforce strategy, bringing innovation and best practices to the function.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in workforce management with an emphasis on forecasting, capacity planning, or related analytics roles in a service or contact center environment.

  • Proven success leading teams and/or large-scale forecasting and planning initiatives.

  • Expertise in building and managing advanced forecast and capacity models using tools such as Excel, Python, R, or Workforce Management Platforms (NICE IEX, Aspect WFM, etc.)

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic alignment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Finance, or related field, or a combination of education and experience preferred.

Core Competencies:

  • Strategic Thinking: Able to develop and execute long-range plans that align with business objectives and future growth.

  • Analytical Expertise: Deep proficiency in statistical modeling, forecasting methodologies, and data analysis.

  • Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of contact center dynamics, KPI’s, service-level goals, and their relationship to staffing and capacity.

  • Communication: Skilled at distilling complex data into clear, compelling insights tailored to a variety of audiences.

Preferences:

  • Experience working with the NICE suite of contact center programs (IEX, CXOne, Nexidia, ESP).

  • Omni-channel, back office, and digital channel forecasting and modeling.

  • Familiarity with CRM data from platforms such as Salesforce and MS Dynamics.


 

Pay Range:

$115,575-$192,625/year

 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
