Job description

Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior Engineer responsible for working with a cross-disciplinary team shipping real-world products to our customers around the nation. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 4 years related experience developing web applications. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) developing stand-alone application for Banking and Financial Service using Java, Enterprise Java Bean 3.0, and Hibernate; (2) implementing Restful service (JAX-RS) from scratch to share data between two different server; (3) improving quality of the application by finding the method which takes more time using XRebel, Dynatrace and modified the hibernate fetch techniques; (4) maintaining code quality by using code analyzer tools including SonarQube and PMD; and (5) working with the following tools and technologies: Mockito for unit tests, Java, Junit, Hibernate, and Restful Services.
