Job description

This role can be remote and based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work EST time zone hours. Ideal candidates will be within a drivable distance to the Dublin, OH, office.

What Marketing Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Marketing Operations supports marketing and product management & development through the execution of marketing assistance programs.

Job Summary

The Advisor, Customer Insights leads Medical Distribution primary customer experience research initiatives, including quantitative and qualitative methodologies. This job is responsible for driving cross-functional action with tailored insights to develop and support the strategic objectives of the business to improve our customers’ experience with Cardinal Health US Medical Distribution.

Accountabilities in this role:

  • Proactively serves as the voice of the customer (VOC) throughout the US Medical Distribution organization, leveraging survey results and customer advisory board insights to drive a customer-centric culture.
  • Manages third-party and vendor relationships and finds additional opportunities to conduct primary research in-house with cross-functional teams, such as the Voice of Manufacturer (VOM).
  • Leads collaboration with analytics teams to maintain reporting and operational solutions, aligned to business need.
  • Seeks out partnerships with other customer-facing and primary research teams within the organization to synthesize, contextualize, and promote customer learnings.
  • Utilizes data insights to prepare internal informational resources, external promotional materials, and customer advisory board content.
  • Understands the different channels of distribution customers the organization serves and how insights impact different segments uniquely.
  • Maintains strong research design skills and demonstrates the ability to generate and test hypotheses.
  • Actively collaborates within and beyond the team and contributes to the team’s performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in data storytelling
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and project management skills
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
  • Knowledge of Cardinal Health business processes and systems
  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4-8 years experience in related field, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $66,500 - $99,645

**The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
