The Senior Marketing Event Specialist oversees many aspects of marketing events including planning, organizing and executing internal events (i.e. Client Forum, Advisory Council, etc) and external events (trade shows). The Senior Marketing Event Specialist is an innovative individual who is actively improving MCG's internal events program.  The right person has the ideal mix of creativity and logistics, is obsessed with spreadsheets, incredibly organized, and knows the ins-and-outs of managing a budget.

The Senior Marketing Event Specialist will work with many diverse stakeholders both internal and external. Such people may include MCG staff, clients, and vendors.

You Will:

 Assists Event Manager with execution of Client Forum inclusive of budgeting, site selection, contracting, hotel room blocks, attrition calculations, BEO reviews, signage approval, management of the internal committee, call for abstracts, selection of speakers, speaker management, staff management, finalagenda, CEU credits, email announcements, partner / exhibitor program, management of mobile app, giveaways, management of VIP rooms and travel, management of all contracted vendors (production, AV, Signage etc.)  and organizations, post-event management of all invoices and trueing up of master bill with hotel and vendors, post-event recording release, on-site event management tech checks and staffing, reporting on ROI. Ensures program is aligned with company goals. Driving registrations. Strong focus on improving the customer experience. Conducts thorough analysis of attendee feedback, continuously implements process improvements, and stays up-to-date on the latest technologies.
 Assists Event Manager with execution the Doyle Award at Client Forum by working with customer success to get applicants, compiling and sending applications to the judges, management of judging panel and compensation to organizations, announcement of winners and coordination of press releases, case studies and testimonials, management of winner and decline announcements and clarification of future responsibilities, coordination of award ceremony at Client Forum. Encourages all applicants to share their stories via additional channels i.e. speaking at Client Forum or on a webinar, participating in the MCG Reference Program.
 Execute Advisory Council. The MCG advisory program is a program where MCG gathers case manager and physician advisory thought leaders from both payer and provider businesses.  MCG collects this groups thoughts on the current products and items under development as well as future roadmap items.  The focus on this event is creating an open environment where honest feedback is gathered. 
 Execute Glue events, monthly half day in-person company events, management of the Glue committee, budget, communications and innovation of the program 
 Execute All Staff events, yearly in person all company two day conference
 Manage reporting for events as needed (i.e. registration tracking, logistics, ROI, etc)
 End-to-end strategy, planning, management and execution of other internal events as needed:
o Collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align on project objectives, concepts, and scope
o Create and maintain comprehensive project plans outlining all event deliverables, milestones, and timelines
o Oversee event operations and logistics involving registration, communication, programming and schedule, risk mitigation, technical requirements, and onsite support
o Establish and manage the budget for each project, providing detailed expense tracking and reporting
o Negotiate, secure, and facilitate third-party vendor and venue contracts
o Lead post-event analysis and present recommendations for future improvements
 Support tradeshows by organizing show sign ups, marketing deliverables, show orders, special events, outreach, lead retrieval and post-show metrics 
 Drive processes that create efficiency or increase ROI           
 Serve as a mentor/trainer for more junior members of the team        

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications or Business preferred) or equivalent experience     
 Minimum 5 years experience in project management – event management experience preferred
 Project management certification or the equivalent strongly preferred
 Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
 Travel to execute events managing (4-6 times annually) 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
 Must have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
 Demonstrated ability to work and achieve results — with minimal supervision — in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment
 Proven success in working on and managing event logistics – especially large scope projects with cross-functional team involvement
 Experience with event technology platforms and management (strongly preferred)
 Strong experience using a project management tool (Wrike preferred)
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
 Understanding of the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers and a desire to provide outstanding customer service consistently
 Internally driven self-starter
 Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
 General understanding of marketing automation
 Experience using Salesforce.com 
 Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Pay Range: $78,900 - $110,565
