What makes the role so great?

As our DevOps Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our service reliability and scalability, enabling us to 'reinvent travelling.' You'll architect and implement cutting-edge infrastructure solutions, drive automation, and optimize our CI/CD pipelines to support rapid innovation and handle services at scale.

What will you do?

  • Setting up and managing cloud-based infrastructure and its costs.

  • Managing Database instances, including backups, replication, and performance tuning.

  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

  • Monitoring application performance and health. Ensuring reliable operation of message brokers through message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ/ Redis).

  • Containerising applications for reliable performance (e.g., Docker) and orchestration of these containers (e.g., Kubernetes).

  • Integrating security practices into the development lifecycle (e.g., SAST, DAST, secrets management, container scanning).

  • Collaborating with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.

  • Developing infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and security using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Performing regular threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response exercises.

  • Leading initiatives to enforce security baselines (IAM hardening, TLS, least privilege access,  WAF, etc.).

  • Mentoring Dev team members and promote best practices across the organization.

 

What will you bring?

  • Residency in Greece

  • Proven experience with AWS and infrastructure automation.

  • Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).

  • Experience with secrets management solutions (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, SOPS).

  • Familiarity with zero trust principles, network segmentation, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

  • Fluency in English

This is a full-time job (40H/week) based in Athens and is available as soon as possible.
