Job description

At flatfair, we’ve built partnerships with letting agents across the UK—but not all of them are currently active. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a commercially-minded, target-driven Business Development Manager to re-engage these partners, build relationships, and grow our revenue. You'll reach out to warm contacts, reintroduce flatfair, and help agents increase plan sales to tenants.

This is a high-activity, sales-focused role. You’ll have the freedom to test your approach, the support of a collaborative team, and the opportunity to make a clear, measurable impact.

What you’ll be doing
  • Proactively re-engaging underperforming partner accounts and driving them back into action.
  • Running high-volume outreach—calls, emails, follow-ups—with tenacity and energy.
  • Selling the benefits of flatfair clearly and confidently to a variety of agent contacts.
  • Delivering remote training that empowers agent teams to promote and convert effectively.
  • Handling objections with empathy, logic, and commercial focus.
  • Tracking your sales pipeline, activity and revenue in our CRM.
  • Sharing insights to help the team improve our pitch and grow more accounts.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in outbound sales, business development, or partner management—ideally in a fast-paced, commercial setting.
  • A competitive mindset and a track record of hitting targets.
  • Comfortable making lots of calls, hearing “no,” and going back for the “yes.”
  • You take ownership, work at pace, and know how to close.
  • Someone who owns their pipeline and can manage multiple accounts with structure and focus.
  • Strong communicator who can adapt your message and build trust quickly.
  • You’re curious, coachable, and always hungry to improve.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in property, proptech, or a startup before—but mindset matters more than background.

What you’ll get
  • £35,000 base salary, OTE ~£50,000
  • Uncapped commission structure based on revenue generated
