We are seeking a Product & Operations Analyst who is excited to support the Product team and broader organization with product analytics and product operations. You will collaborate with teams across the organization: members of the Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams. Your primary mission is to help support the build of a well-run product organization by providing adoption, usage, and other important data to our Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.



Position Title: Product & Operations Analyst

 

Location: Remote - LATAM 

 

What you will be doing:
  • Steward our customer usage data, be responsible for understanding the data, data schemas, and database structure to ensure accurate measurement.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to identify valuable KPIs around product usage, collect that data with tools like Pendo, and serve that data in dashboards and reports that shed insight into user behavioral and goal achievement.
  • Work with the Director of Product to define metrics that track product performance and execution.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services on actions to improve usage of our solutions.
  • Generate customer adoption dashboards and reports for all audiences, ensuring they are accessible and consumable.
  • Develop product productivity reports and dashboards that visualize the outcomes, progress, capacity, and costs across the Product department, highlighting valuable insights that will inform financial and strategic decisions made by the executive leadership team.
  • Design and execute database queries that drive our KPIs.
  • Create automated and streamlined procedures to measure progress towards goals and outcomes across solutions and teams. 
  • Maintain and enhance our product analytics platform to report on customer and product engagement metrics across the organization.
  • Act as application administrator for usage analysis and product productivity tools.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis that reinforces taking a data centric approach to the customer and product experience.
  • Work with the Product team to develop in-app messaging that accelerates user onboarding and adoption of features, supporting user discovery and awareness

 

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • BA/BS Degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant business analysis or business intelligence work experience.
  • Strong business intelligence and analytical skills and proven experience using data analysis to tell stories that support critical business decisions.
  • A self-starter attitude and ability to work without direct supervision among multiple, concurrent projects.  
  • Analytics skills and a curiosity to solve challenging data issues, turning them into accurate business outcomes. 
  • Strong desire to fail fast using hypothesis driven experimentation. 
  • Desire to work collaboratively and transparently with a commitment to following through until a project is completed. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialog.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, consistently prioritizing, and meeting deadlines. 
  • Proficient in data coding languages like SQL with the ability to design and build complex queries in data warehouse solutions like Snowflake or DataBricks.
  • Proficient in business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. 

 

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with product operations tools like Aha! Road mapping, or Salesforce is a plus.

  • Ability to effectively communicate data insights and strategic recommendations, fostering informed decision-making across executive and cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams, ensuring seamless data integration and usage optimization. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude, crucial for managing and optimizing complex databases and queries to support business intelligence operations. 
  • Adept in strategic data storytelling and visualization, utilizing tools like Tableau and Power BI to transform data into actionable insights that drive product analytics and business strategy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks within an Agile or Scrum framework, ensuring timely delivery of analytical projects and continuous improvement in product operations.
