Job description

 

We are looking for motivated working students (m/f/d) in the field of software development to support us in creating automated test cases. The internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in software development and delve deeper into the field of test automation.

 

What you do

  • Development and implementation of automated tests for frontend applications using Cypress.
  • Identification of test cases and creation of corresponding test scripts.
  • Collaboration with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the development process.
  • Analysis of test results and tracking of defects.
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of the test automation strategy

 

What you bring

  • MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of wikis (e.g., Confluence) and task boards (e.g., Jira) is advantageous
  • (Self-) organizational talent, familiarity with home office technology, e.g., web meetings, WebEx meetings, Teams chats
  • Basic knowledge in frontend development (TypeScript or JavaScript) and experience with Cypress (or similar tools like Jest, WebdriverIO, Puppeteer, TestCafe)
  • Basic understanding of software development processes as well as basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical application
  • Initiative and the ability to work in an agile team environment
  • Very good German and English skill
