Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain relational databases.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
Collaborate with other developers to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
Document database designs and procedures.
Develop database unit tests to verify procedure functionality.
Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in database development.
Ability to obtain Secret clearance.\\
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with other database languages and tools.
Knowledge of database security best practices.
Proficiency in .NET Web application development using C#.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $77,600.00/Yr. - USD $129,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
