Job description

Role: NOC Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Work Hours: Sun - Wed 3 PM to 1 AM EST OR Sun - Thurs 5 PM to 1 AM EST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

Core Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network, application, and infrastructure alerts.
  • Follow SOPs for incident response (e.g., site outages, service restarts).
  • Manage incidents and tickets via ServiceNow.
  • Provide customer-facing support via email, phone, and Slack.
  • Participate in a rotating alert system and collaborate closely with team members.
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
  • Linux proficiency (log navigation, basic commands, zipping files).
  • Networking knowledge: ping tests, router access, Cisco firewalls.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
Other Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must work at least one weekend day (with a weekday off).
  • Dependable and consistent availability.
