Listed within this posting is the anticipated salary range for this position, plus variable incentive compensation. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that include, but are not limited to, your business experience, education, and individual capacity. THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Software QA Supervisor oversees the software testing team to ensure that all software products meet quality standards and are free from defects.  This involves managing testing activities, coordinating with other departments, leading a small offshore team, and ensuring that testing processes are effective and efficient.

 

LOCATION:

Hybrid (Bel Air, MD Office)

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of software testers, providing direction, guidance, and support
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Ensure all software products meet quality standards and are free from defects
  • Collaborate with development team and business analyst to ensure testing aligns with project goals
  • Supervise offshore testing/automation
  • Establish QA testing best practices
  • Integrate automated testing into the deployment pipeline
  • Regression testing 3rd party SaaS applications
  • Generate detailed reports on testing activities, including test results, defect tracking, and quality metrics
  • Identify and resolve issues that impede the testing process

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; 5-7 years’ experience in software testing
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Experience leading offshore teams
  • Experience with regression testing and test automation tools (such as Selenium)
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and techniques
  • Experience in project management tools and methodologies
