We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern will learn the different functions of Human Resources while helping in the execution of different tasks and initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the corporate office.
  • Assist in administrative tasks in the HR department.
  • Responsible for helping with employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with corporate office event planning and execution.
  • Support HR initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative assignments.
  • Assure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations; and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Must have or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a concentration in Human Resources.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple assignments/tasks.
  • Must be proactive, self-starter with the innate ability to understand when to defer to management for guidance.
  • Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work well in a deadline-driven environment without diminishing the quality of work.
  • Must have excellent communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to and follow instructions, coordinate with team members, and present ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
