We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern will learn the different functions of Human Resources while helping in the execution of different tasks and initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Provide support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the corporate office.
Assist in administrative tasks in the HR department.
Responsible for helping with employee onboarding and offboarding.
Assist with corporate office event planning and execution.
Support HR initiatives.
Perform general administrative assignments.
Assure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations; and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Must have or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a concentration in Human Resources.
Detail oriented, highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple assignments/tasks.
Must be proactive, self-starter with the innate ability to understand when to defer to management for guidance.
Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality at all times.
Ability to work well in a deadline-driven environment without diminishing the quality of work.
Must have excellent communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to and follow instructions, coordinate with team members, and present ideas.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
