Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist with previous OB/GYN practice experience to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our customers as well as the rest of our organization. We practice medicine with our core values in mind: Compassion, Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, and Excellence. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 1 + current and consecutive years of OBGYN Front office experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with EMR system is a plus.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proven team player.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient/customer confidentiality.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in/check-out patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Providing patient support for pre-registration.
  • Assist team members with insurance verification.
  • Managing copays or out of pocket responsibilities from patients.
  • Upholding office policies and front office procedures.
  • Ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service to patients.
  • Following daily protocols and staying in contact with direct supervisor.
  • Liaise with staff and medical providers to solve schedule challenges or patient issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must not be listed on the Department of Health and Human services Office of Inspector General OIG List of excluded Individuals/Entities.
