This is a remote position.

Role Name: Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • Part-time (10 hours per week)

  • Flexible schedule with Eastern Time availability for communication

This is an exciting opportunity to support a brand founder who works with high-profile clients and celebrities, helping maintain the financial foundation of an emerging business. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining clean books as the company scales. This part-time position offers flexibility while contributing to a business that's making waves in the beauty industry.

Scope:

  • 10 hours per week (minimum for basic bookkeeping tasks)

  • ongoing monthly work

  • Remote position

  • Two separate QuickBooks accounts to manage

  • Monthly reporting cycle

  • Support for annual CPA preparation



Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for two separate QuickBooks accounts (skincare company and spa)

  • Generate monthly financial reports and ensure accuracy

  • Clean up and maintain balance sheets and profit & loss statements

  • Ensure proper cash flow tracking and categorization in QuickBooks

  • Support annual CPA preparation by maintaining organized books throughout the year

  • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks as needed


Requirements
:

  • Experience with QuickBooks (managing multiple accounts preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail for reconciliation work

  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge and understanding of financial statements

  • Ability to work independently on part-time schedule

  • Eastern Time availability for communication during business hours

  • Experience with small business bookkeeping preferred
