As a Staff Integration Engineer, you will be a technical leader responsible for driving complex client implementations and system integrations. Your role involves leveraging deep technical expertise to architect, deploy, and optimize Lyric's solutions for enterprise healthcare clients. You will serve as the technical bridge between our engineering teams and customers, ensuring successful deployments while establishing best practices for implementation excellence across the organization. This person will show a track record of strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to clients, executives, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical implementations for enterprise healthcare clients, from discovery and requirements gathering through deployment and go-live, serving as the primary technical point of contact and presenting tailored architectural solutions that address infrastructure, security, and integration needs.
Design scalable implementation solutions and data migration strategies that integrate Lyric's platform with client systems, APIs, and data pipelines, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
Collaborate closely with product engineering, data engineering, and customer success teams to ensure client implementation needs are reflected in technical designs and product evolution.
Define and evolve implementation best practices, including automation strategies, documentation standards, and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery and improve client outcomes.
Mentor junior implementation engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence across the implementation team.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies that enhance implementation quality, repeatability, and time-to-value.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field or 12 years relevant experience.
8+ years of experience in combination of technical implementation, systems integration, and client-facing roles with a proven record of successful enterprise implementations.
5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and service-oriented architectures, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or SaaS environments.
5+ years of hands-on experience with API integrations, data migrations, and system-to-system connectivity.
5+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-based deployment architectures.
3+ years of experience with data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL) and data transformation processes.
3+ years coding in one or more languages (.NET preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from inception through completion.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for production systems.
Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, HL7, FHIR) preferred.
Background in healthcare payer operations or claims processing systems.
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or healthcare technology standards.
