Job description

Project Overview:
We are currently recruiting annotators for a Cultural Shock Project that examines the experiences of cultural surprise or misunderstanding people encounter when visiting other countries.

Task Details:
Participants will be asked to rate 50 short statements—sourced from real social media content—based on how culturally surprising or unexpected they seem. Please note that some content may be culturally specific or sensitive.

Estimated time commitment: Approx. 1.5 hours
Platform: Hosted on the client’s platform
Requirements: All participants must sign client paperwork and create a client-specific work account before receiving access to the tool
