The Media Strategy Analyst is a critical role on the NRS Media Activation team within the digital media arm of NRS. At NRS we focus on the power of data and linking our products together to support one campaign by being “one of one” in the market. In this role you will support the NRS Digital, National, and Retail Sales teams by managing the digital media pre-sales process, including building campaign proposals in response to advertiser or agency RFPs, as well as for prospective pitches. You will support our proprietary DOOH planning process using our owned & operated planning and activation DSP. You will also support social, programmatic display, targeted email, and CTV programs. You will work with internal teams including ad operations, trading, digital account managers, consumer insights and more to develop fully integrated and strategic advertising programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have advanced excel skills. You will need to be highly adaptable as part of a team that is consistently evolving. It is preferred that you have experience working with clients directly, have a foundational knowledge of digital marketing channels, and have worked at a media agency, ad tech company, or in a comparable marketing role.


JOB DESCRIPTION

What you will do:

  • Develop omnichannel digital media campaigns including programmatic DOOH, DOOH tied to instore campaigns, programmatic display, video, CTV, targeted email, and social campaigns. You will use data to differentiate the value of Neptune’s media offerings and deliver on client objectives and strategies
  • Join client meetings to provide media expertise ranging from discovery to campaign performance
  • Make data informed targeting, platform, and channel recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental functions and inter-departmental teams
  • Utilize project management skill set to maintain campaign documentation across a variety of tools and platforms
  • Communicate effectively and work proactively to ensure that the pre-sale phase is efficient and productive
  • Contribute to additional projects to support company objectives and team success
  • Work within our owned and operated ad tech platforms


Your strengths:

  • Working knowledge of digital advertising, reporting, and various targeting methodologies especially in Programmatic Digital Out of Home
  • Ability to problem solve, make quick decisions, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced atmosphere while staying adaptable and professional under pressure

Applicant Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or other business-related field
  • 2-4 years’ experience in digital media or sales supporting roles
  • Bonus if you have experience working in a DSP, Targeting Platform, Analytics Tool, or other media related framework
