We are looking for a skilled and reliable freelance translator to help us translate content for our Belgian website from Dutch into French (Belgian variant). This includes translating a variety of content types such as main pages, subpages, news articles, and detailed casino reviews. Your work will play a key role in ensuring our French-speaking audience receives clear, engaging, and culturally appropriate content.

What you’ll be doing

Translate existing content accurately and fluently from Dutch to French, maintaining the original meaning and tone
Adapt the language to suit the Belgian French market, ensuring cultural relevance and reader engagement
Work closely with our content and editorial teams to ensure consistency in style and terminology across all pages
Upload translated content directly into WordPress
Collaborate with the design team to ensure proper formatting and layout of translated content
Meet deadlines and manage your workload independently as a freelancer
Proofread and revise translations to guarantee high-quality and error-free texts

The ideal candidate should

Be a native French speaker
Have experience translating and adapting web content (experience in online gambling is a plus)
Be detail-oriented and able to maintain tone and style consistency
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Have copy/content writing skills as a secondary strength
Be familiar with CMS platforms, especially WordPress
Have a good understanding of SEO principles (preferred)
Be able to work independently and meet deadlines
Be available to collaborate during Central European working hours, especially during the first few months for onboarding/training
