Job Description:

This position supervises the processing of documents in compliance with Customs and other government regulatory agency requirements. He/She manages the workload of hourly staff, developing team goals, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, and training hourly employees on compliance with regulations and requirements. This position maintains productivity and is well versed on international commerce and transportation industry changes. He/She manages customer relationships for assigned clients and oversees services provided to the clients. This position manages and distributes team’s workload, tracks and reports statistics, resolves customer service issues, and oversees all aspects of the account.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises account management process.

  • Conducts exception reviews.

  • Supervises the brokerage financial management process.

  • Helps prepare and distribute internal audit reports to inform Trade Management Services management.

  • Conducts and provides guidance for root cause analyses to develop corrective action plans.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

  • Proven analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skills

  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, if necessary)

  • Strong knowledge of Customs and Border Protection Regulations

  • Willing to travel

  • Customs Brokers License - Preferred

  • International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred

  • AES, FTZ, and Warehouse knowledge - Preferred

  • The candidate must be bilingual in both English and Spanish - Required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,640/year to $105,060/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
