Job description

We are reimagining the way the world experiences healthcare and our Director of Research will collaborate within Clinical Excellence and beyond to ensure alignment of the Mission, strategic priorities, and industry best practices for our growing portfolio of research and training programs. The Catalight Research Institute’s Director of Research will be an integral member in our larger Clinical Excellence (CE) team that promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. We are looking for an adaptive team member who will support inclusive and equity-informed strategies and programs that can adapt and scale to support the multi-faceted needs of our clients, families, and customers in support of our dynamic portfolio. The ideal candidate is bold in their approach, is solution oriented, welcomes ever changing environments, and approaches work with a growth mindset. They are excited for an opportunity to innovate, collaborate on strategy development and operational excellence across the Family of Companies (FoC), while building relationships with care and enjoy creating inclusive spaces.

This is a fully remote position; must be able to work core hours on Pacific/Hawaiian time zones and occasional travel may be required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Inform and contribute to a collaborative yet transformative approach to the Clinical Excellence operations that reflects our mission, values, and provides an exceptional learning experience.
  • Contribute to, support, and implement programs that are people centered and wellbeing focused.
  • Meet and exceed identified goals and metrics by innovating, taking risks, critically thinking, and establishing credibility as an advisor across the family of companies and beyond.
  • Successfully build, support, and collaborate within a high performing team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing work environment.
  • Oversee and support five or more research initiatives each year including writing IRB protocols, submitting protocols for IRB approval, implement research study to completion, contribute with manuscript writing, support research team with manuscript writing, and submit to peer-reviewed journals for publication
  • Attend and present at 6-8 conference per year as determined by the research team.
  • Contribute to manual and curriculum writing for programs and training content for Catalight Classroom
  • Support Catalight Classroom captone courses
  • Contribute to complex case consultation
  • Build relationships with other researchers and clinicians nationally and internationally to support furthering research for the I/DD community
  • Establish strong and collaborative partnerships within Clinical Excellence, its’ community, as well as throughout the FoC.
  • Manage and perform special projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • BCBA certification preferred
  • Fluent in American Psychological Association Publication Manual, 7th Edition publication guidelines.
  • Experience conducting research with human subjects
  • Experience implementing ABA, parent-mediated interventions, CBT, and/or other evidence-based interventions for autistic people and people with I/DD.

Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
  • Able to travel to corporate offices 1-4 times per year for team meetings
  • Must attend any required training.

Time Type:

Full time

Compensation:
$185,000 - $215,000 Annually
