Experience & Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or cafe is required.
Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays -- must be available to work on Sundays.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties.
Greet customers, take orders accurately, and ring all orders through POS; promptly receive and process payment for each guest.
Prepare coffee and other beverages according to Hogsalt recipes, always upholding the culture and standards of the Hogsalt coffee program and adhering to food safety standards..
Anticipate the needs of guests and provide consistent, genuine, and generous service..
Address any guest needs or concerns as soon as possible; communicate any complaints or issues with food or service to leadership.
Complete all closing duties including a financial checkout, closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service not listed above are properly executed.
