Job Description Summary
As Internal Communications Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of communications that align employees with KISS’s strategic priorities and business goals. You’ll translate key initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that build understanding, inspire connection, and drive aligned action across the organization.
This role reports to the Director of Communications & Public Affairs and works closely with leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure our internal messaging fosters clarity, trust, and consistency at every level. You'll play a pivotal role in enabling employees to connect their daily work to broader company goals, while also reinforcing an inclusive, engaging, and informed employee culture. This role requires both strategic thinking and strong execution across multiple formats, channels, and audiences.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communication & Engagement Planning
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies aligned with company goals, culture, and values.
- Partner with leadership, HR, and business functions to cascade messaging that drives clarity, alignment, and trust.
- Shape a cohesive internal narrative that connects day-to-day work to larger business strategy and outcomes.
- Support initiatives that reinforce our internal brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring consistent alignment across teams.
- Campaign & Content Creation
- Lead strategic campaigns that translate business initiatives, milestones, and priorities into engaging and actionable content.
- Create compelling written, visual, and video content across multiple channels: newsletters, intranet, digital signage, Slack/Teams, and executive communications.
- Use storytelling to build understanding, surface voices from across the organization, and promote key messages that reinforce company goals.
- Adapt internal content for external platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor to support recruitment marketing and brand consistency.
- Culture & Employer Brand Communications
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and Learning teams to reinforce company values across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and growth to recognition and well-being.
- Develop internal narratives that reflect our culture, values, and EVP, enhancing both employee engagement and employer brand perception.
- Support communications for cultural moments, people programs, and community-building efforts.
- Ensure messaging is inclusive, authentic, and aligned across all touchpoints.
- Channel & Tools Management
- Oversee internal communications platforms such as intranet, Slack/Teams, newsletters, internal social, and email systems.
- Monitor and evaluate channel performance and employee engagement data to continuously refine communication strategy and delivery.
- Ensure content accessibility and adherence to voice, tone, and brand guidelines.
- Leadership Enablement
- Develop toolkits, talking points, and content frameworks to support leaders in clearly and consistently communicating strategic direction.
- Coach executives and people managers on storytelling and engagement techniques that help align teams and reinforce priorities.
- Change & Crisis Communication
- Lead communication planning for change initiatives, organizational updates, and transformation efforts, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Support the development of timely, clear response communications during sensitive or high-impact moments.
- Use feedback loops (e.g., surveys, listening channels) to gauge message effectiveness and guide iteration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in internal communications or employee engagement, ideally within the beauty, lifestyle, or consumer goods sector.
- Proven ability to synthesize business strategy into clear, actionable employee communications.
- Strong understanding of internal branding, organizational culture, and leadership alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional campaigns and executive communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative development skills.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and navigating a matrixed organization.
- Hands-on experience with internal communication platforms and tools, such as: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Email tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor), Survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Culture Amp), Design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for branded content.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking and optimizing communication effectiveness.
- Familiarity with the employee lifecycle and key HR communications touchpoints.
- Proficiency in Korean is a plus.

The anticipated compensation range is
69,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD Annual
Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
