Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Director of Product Innovation to join our growing team!
The Senior Director of Product Innovation will be accountable for leveraging data and proposing solutions that help deliver industry insights and improve customer analysis, while working with stakeholders to support the overall strategy of Brown & Browns’ product pipeline and portfolio of analytic innovation and solutions. Using industry leading health information tools, you will lead a team responsible for creating and seeing innovative R&D products into production which strives to improve value-based care delivery and cost-effective payment models. You will bring strong industry knowledge and will serve as a trusted business partner to your internal partners and Brown & Brown customers.
How You Will Contribute:
Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Drive innovation and long-term growth by identifying market opportunities and industry trends.
Collaborate with executive leadership and department stakeholders to evaluate current platforms and inform product strategy, integration feasibility, and operational trade-offs.
Set the strategic vision and product roadmap that aligns with Brown & Brown’s business objectives and customer needs
Bring thought leadership within analytics, while partnering with technology leadership, to establish a comprehensive data & reporting strategy that aligns with our client’s business objectives
Oversee the management of Brown & Brown’s National Pharmacy Team product portfolio for Consulting analytics
Partner with technology teammates to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and designed to meet the unique needs and deliverables of our teammates and clients.
Identify and propose emerging trends in pharmacy, health data, and benefit design to maintain a competitive edge.
Drive product innovation and solutions from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs
Provide thought leadership and hands-on prototype development, ensuring R&D initiatives deliver actionable insights and add business value.
Identify and prioritize high-impact data initiatives and analytics projects.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure technology releases meet quality standards and satisfy delivery expectations.
Translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for diverse audiences.
Partner across departments and with the larger Brown & Brown organization to foster cross-functional alignment.
Communicate strategy, product performance, and data insights to internal teams, senior leadership, clients, and external partners.
Assist in identifying and validating new business opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders
Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals in product management that leverage business intelligence, data science, and AI.
Champion a data-driven, collaborative culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Empower internal and external teams to make informed, data-backed decisions.
Present strategy updates and key performance metrics to leadership and clients.
Support the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and organizational effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
10+ years of experience in product management, innovation, or digital strategy, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy consulting
Proven track record of leading product teams and managing platform-level decisions
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Analytics, Health Informatics, or similar related field/experience (advanced degree or pharmacy credential is a plus)
BS Pharm/PharmD or similar clinical pharmacy experience (preferred)
Strong experience in MS office suite, Azure, SQL, Oracle, and BI tools
Experience and understanding of pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical/pharmacy data and benefit design
Experience with data modeling, analytic platforms and working with large/complex data sets
Experience with Tableau, including development and adhoc querying, is a plus
Model Development in pharmacy data or healthcare analytics
Experience with relational databases, data at scale, warehousing and data loading
Quick self-motivated learner who can initiate and drive new projects
Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Pay Range
$150,000 - $225,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
