Collaborate with Designers and the design team to create packaging concepts and artwork for a variety of products.
Review and implement packaging revisions based on feedback from internal teams, licensors, and production departments.
Develop packaging designs that meet brand guidelines, legal requirements, and functional specifications.
Assist in the creation and updating of product packaging, including die lines, graphics, and labels.
Ensure designs are produced accurately, adhering to company standards and production timelines.
Set up files for manufacturing production.
Work with New York team members in design, development and licensing to ensure design specifications are met and the packaging is functional and cost-effective.
Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and design techniques to continually improve the quality of packaging designs.
Aid with the organization of packaging files, ensuring that all materials are properly documented and stored.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1-4 years of experience in packaging design (internship or relevant experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Knowledge of packaging production processes, including die lines, print production, and materials.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for design and innovation.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with packaging sustainability and eco-friendly design practices.
Experience working with licensing or branded products.
Ability to set up production files for manufacturing.
