Senior Android Developer (7+ years)

We are searching for an experienced and passionate Android Developer to join our Romanian team (mostly Cluj-based) and contribute to an exciting IoT project - German customer. 

• Take technical ownership of Android development within the team.
• Collaborate closely with the Mobile Architect to ensure high-quality architecture and design.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices and clean code principles.
• Contribute to planning, development, testing, and delivery of Android mobile apps.
• Help shape and maintain coding standards, tools, and development workflows.

• Strong experience (7-10 years) in native Android development (Kotlin/Java).
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture), and dependency injection frameworks.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and Bluetooth/IoT integrations is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to cross-platform development (e.g., Flutter or React Native).
• Previous work on IoT or smart home applications.

You will be part of a dedicated Nagarro team responsible for developing multiple mobile applications for an IoT platform. The team is led by a Nagarro Mobile Architect and currently includes 5 talented members, working in a SCRUM-based agile environment.
