A Quality Assurance Engineer develops and implements Software Quality Assurance Plans, ensuring adherence to contract requirements outlined in Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans. They assess software development processes, recommend optimizations, and conduct internal audits for quality control. Responsibilities include designing test plans, procedures, and documentation, executing tests, managing releases, and leading teams in unit and integrated system testing to ensure compliance with access control standards.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Quality Assurance Engineer: $54/hr
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Develop and implement Software Quality Assurance Plans.
Ensure adherence to contract and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan requirements.
Assess and optimize software development processes.
Conduct internal audits to maintain quality control standards.
Test the system and application software for access control compliance.
Design test plans, procedures, and documentation for system/application testing.
Execute tests, track results, and manage software releases.
Develop test cases and lead testing efforts (unit, functional, load, regression).
Review test reports and oversee release management.
Ensure compliance of software with access control standards.
Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
