Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Visual Communication & Graphic Design Specialist to create branded PowerPoint templates that align with their digital service delivery goals. This is a short-term project focused on producing polished, professional templates that meet a wide variety of communication needs.

Project Scope

Develop two branded PowerPoint templates for internal use
Include multiple slide layouts (e.g., text, images, quotes, tables, data visualization, multi-project pages)
Deliver a master slide deck for use by the core digital services team
Define and document design guidelines and expectations for future use
Ensure alignment with City of Vancouver branding

Key Requirements

Formal education in Graphic Design / Visual Communication
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual and graphic design
Strong portfolio showcasing slide design, brand systems, and data visualization
No preference for public vs. private sector background

Deliverables

Two fully designed, branded PowerPoint templates

Master slide deck with icons and reusable components (a template that can be used for future presentations)

Data visualization elements for use in reports and presentations

Guidelines for consistent usage
