About the Role

The Patient Experience/ Medical Assistant plays an essential role in delivering a high-quality, personalized experience to patients throughout their care journey. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clinical support across key patient touchpoints—from onboarding and scheduling to lab coordination and prescription assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, clinical awareness, and adaptability to support a wide range of patient needs while ensuring alignment with LifeMD’s mission of exceptional care.

About Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate smooth patient onboarding following completion of payment, including initiating patient communication and platform access (EMR and patient community)

• Coordinate provider and dietitian appointments, ensuring timely scheduling based on program milestones and lab results

• Support lab and functional test coordination, including order placement, requisition delivery, and tracking patient compliance and results

• Monitor and manage ongoing patient communications, providing clear, accurate, and supportive responses across various channels

• Assist with prescription workflows including refill tracking, coordination with compounding pharmacies, and ensuring patients have access to necessary supplies

• Maintain detailed records of patient status and tasks in internal systems (ClickUp, Healthie), ensuring up-to-date tracking throughout the patient lifecycle

• Collaborate with internal teams and providers to ensure a seamless patient experience across all stages of care

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare coordination, patient support, or a related field
  • Experience working with EMRs, lab ordering systems, and healthcare task platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
