Responsibilities

• Lead the governance initiatives within technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain metrics to measure compliance, risk management, and performance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of governance practices with business objectives.
• Supervise and guide a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Participate in the design and implementation of governance frameworks and policies for technology.
• Evaluate new technologies and practices, providing recommendations based on governance principles.
• Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate effective communication regarding governance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;

• Proven experience in a governance-related role within the technology sector;
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to technology;
• Experience with risk management and performance metrics development;
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Proficient in developing and implementing IT policies and standards.
