About The Role
This position will be responsible for managing the brand's Marketing budget, a key area of focus for Gap. The position will partner directly with the Finance and Marketing organizations (PR, Social Media, Print Production, Photography, and Digital Media) and will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A.
What You'll Do
In partnership with the brand business partners, develop the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan for Gap Marketing Divisional expenses
Identify and research monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities, including preparing and uploading journal entries for marketing accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and preparing close/forecast slides
Assist in preparing executive presentations for budget and forecast that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items and opportunity to support leadership in making informed business decisions
Develop and maintain effective relationships with both associated finance business partners and cross-functional teams
Maximize the use of Anaplan,Essbase, and Oracle Financials inforecasting/budgetingprocess
Provide ad hoc analytical support/special projects as needed
Act as liaison between Finance and Marketing teams using factual/solution based approach
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 4 Years Finance/Accounting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Essbase/Oracle (experience with Allocadia particularly desirable)
Experience with Anaplan desirable

Salary Range: $92,900 - $123,200 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
