Job description

FocusKPI is looking for a Content Specialist (Marketing/Creative/Product Design) to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company. 

The team is seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media Content Producer to support the client's social media team by creating, editing, and designing content for their social channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role perfect for someone who deeply understands social trends and creativity, and knows how to execute on ideas through video, motion, and visual storytelling. You will work with their internal team and agency partners to take creative direction and bring it to life in engaging formats to be shared across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Range: $25/hr to $31/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Film and edit short-form videos—often of yourself—for social platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn)
  • Design scroll-stopping visuals (static posts, motion graphics, etc.) to support our always-on content approach
  • Contribute content ideas during brainstorms and help bring brand storytelling to life with a social-first lens
  • Keep a pulse on trends, cultural moments, and best practices to ensure content feels timely and native to each platform
  • Work closely with the social team to ensure all content aligns with the client’s tone, style, and creative standards
  • Create, organize, and deliver assets on a quick turnaround in the correct specs for each channel
  • Ensure posts go live across our social channels by handling day-to-day publishing

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience creating digital/social-first content
  • Comfortable filming yourself and appearing on camera when needed
  • Experience editing, producing, and publishing social-first video content, tailored for specific platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), utilizing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or native in-app tools.
  • Proficient in graphic design with a strong understanding of Figma
  • Excellent writing skills and an understanding of how copy + visuals work together on social
  • Experience creating content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, and other relevant social channels
  • Avid user of social media sites like TikTok, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn with solid understanding of current and new features, different layouts, algorithm changes, and/or formats
  • Comfortable working in a Virtual First environment
  • While not required, familiarity with AirTable is a bonus
  • The role involves creating content specifically for social channels with a focus on Dash-related content. 1-3 years' media editing experience preferred.
