Job Summary

We’re searching for an ambitious and skilled Software Engineer to join our development team. At Ceterus, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of entire features from start to finish. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define feature specs, build and refine backend APIs, create seamless front-end experiences, and drive continuous improvements post-launch. You’ll be part of a supportive, highly collaborative team, working together to deliver top-tier solutions and ensure our platform remains at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Own Your Work: Take full responsibility for designing, developing, testing, and refining key components of the Ceterus platform.
Solve Problems Across the Stack: Tackle complex challenges across both backend and frontend, contributing to the entire codebase.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work directly with Product and Design teams to understand user needs, develop solutions, and continuously iterate on features.
Build and Scale: Create high-quality, maintainable solutions that are both scalable and performant, while addressing the evolving needs of our users.

Qualifications:

Passion for Problem Solving: You’re motivated by creating elegant, effective solutions that address real customer pain points.
Technical Expertise: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React/Redux), databases (MySQL), and building/consuming REST APIs.
Familiarity with Key Technologies: Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, Kafka, Docker, or similar tools. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment.
Team-Oriented: You enjoy collaborating within a small, agile team where everyone’s contributions are vital to success.
Experience with Distributed Systems: Proven track record building high-throughput, scalable applications.

Education and Training:
