Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with Family Law and Wills & Estates experience to support a growing law firm based in Australia. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Australian family law procedures, experience preparing Wills and Estate documents, and a meticulous attention to detail. You will be working closely with legal practitioners to provide high-quality paralegal and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice on a comprehensive range of family law and wills + estates.
Independently draft, review, and finalise family law documents, such as prenuptial agreements, divorce filings, and custody arrangements, ensuring they align with the company’s interests and legal standards.
Navigate through complex family law cases, providing strategic and legal advice to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.
Collaborate with various departments to identify legal requirements and devise actionable solutions in family law matters.
Conduct thorough research and produce reports summarising your findings in relevant family law cases.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in family law, especially within the Australian context, and ensure the knowledge is applied in practice.
Assist in structuring and organizing workflow, as well as implementing document management in family law cases.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Law from an Australian institution or affiliated institution is strongly preferred, Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in family law.
Experience or qualifications from the Australian jurisdiction will be particularly valuable.
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a strategic and empathetic outlook, especially in sensitive family law matters.
Superior communication abilities, both written and spoken. Must be adept at working in a remote team setting and handling sensitive client communications.
